The 2012 CYFI fellows were divided into 5 teams based on their interests, background and passion. Each team is responsible for the design and implementation of a youth engagement project, YEP, over the course of the program year. Team members must work together to prepare a comprehensive project proposal, and then work with the CYFI Board and Public Affairs to fine tune their project and attract sponsors as they go into the implementation phase.
This year's fellows are hard at work on the following project areas: public health, education, university outreach and entrepreneurship, vocational training, and civil liberties.
